Medium Voltage Capacitor Bank (MV PFC)
HTVQ series medium-voltage capacitor banks are designed for reactive compensation in medium voltage networks.
The HTVQ series combines primary components, and secondary control and protection within a compact modular enclosure.
Introduction
HTVQ medium voltage reactive power compensation system can be configured as metal-enclosed fixed or automatic capacitor banks for indoor or outdoor applications. The complete HTVQ system comes with Volt-Var controller, capacitor protection relays, vacuum contactors or circuit breakers, fuses, capacitors, isolator with earth switch, detuning or filtering reactors, rapid-discharge voltage transformer, surge arrestors in multiple cabinets. For metal-enclosed type HTVQ, each capacitor step is housed in an individual cabinet for easy transportation and installation.
HTVQ series medium-voltage capacitor banks are available with nominal voltages up to 35 kV. They are fully assembled and factory tested in an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 environment.
The design of the HTVQ provides effective reactive compensation for both substations of utility companies and large industrial power users including mining industry, pulp and paper, chemical industry, steel works, cement factories, pump centers.
